Welcome to onlineresources.org ("Service," "we," "our," or "us"), operated by SibsForever, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 85-2863304). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

onlineresources.org is a crowdsourced directory of grief and sibling loss support resources. Our Service allows users to:

  • Search and discover grief support resources
  • Submit new resources for community benefit
  • Share personal stories and experiences
  • Save resources to their account
  • Claim ownership of resource listings
  • Flag inappropriate or inaccurate content

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update your information as necessary to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

4. User Content and Conduct

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to our Service ("User Content"), including resources, stories, and comments. By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

5. Resource Submissions and Ownership Claims

5.1 Resource Submissions

When you submit a resource, it will be reviewed by our team before being published. We reserve the right to reject or modify submissions that do not meet our quality standards or community guidelines.

5.2 Ownership Claims

If you are the owner or authorized representative of a resource listed on our Service, you may claim ownership. We will verify your claim through various methods (domain verification, email confirmation, etc.). False ownership claims may result in account suspension.

5.3 Resource Updates and Removal

Verified resource owners may update their listings or request removal. We also reserve the right to update or remove resources that become inaccurate, inactive, or inappropriate.

6. Content Moderation

We use a combination of AI-powered tools, community flagging, and manual review to moderate content. We reserve the right to remove, modify, or reject any User Content at our discretion, with or without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by SibsForever and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.

7.2 Trademarks

"onlineresources.org," "SibsForever," and related logos are trademarks of SibsForever. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The information provided through the Service is accurate, complete, or reliable
  • Any defects will be corrected

Important: The resources listed on our Service are provided by the community and third parties. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the quality, safety, or effectiveness of any resource. 9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIBSFOREVER AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND VOLUNTEERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SibsForever and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
